Privacy Policy

This policy describes how ShopUpUp ("we", "us") processes information when merchants use Super Migration&Export/Import (the "App"). Contact us at service@shopupup.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we process

When you install and use the App, we process your Shopify shop identifier, authorization scopes, access tokens and session information. Shopify may also provide authorized staff account details such as name, email address, user ID and locale. We store your language preference and, if you enable the optional API functionality, API key records and related timestamps.

We process the store content you select for an import, export or other operation. This can include products, collections, menus, pages, blogs, files, metafields, policies, locations and markets. Import files, text, media URLs and other content you provide may contain personal information. Only provide content you own or are authorized to process, and avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

Our hosting and service infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, response status and error details to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the App. If you contact support, we process the information included in your message.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate your store, perform operations you request through Shopify APIs, return exports, retain preferences, provide optional API access, respond to support requests, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use imported store content for advertising.

Service providers and sharing

The App uses Shopify APIs, Vercel hosting and a hosted database to provide its functions. These providers process information as needed to operate their services. A public file URL you submit may be fetched by Shopify or our infrastructure to complete an import. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate privacy safeguards.

AI-assisted workflows and external services

You may use an external AI tool to prepare structured data and then import it with the App, or connect a tool through the optional API. Information you choose to send to an external tool is also subject to that provider's privacy policy. Review generated content before importing it, and do not disclose credentials or unnecessary personal information in prompts.

Retention and deletion

We retain authentication records and settings as needed to provide the App. Uninstalling the App revokes its Shopify access; we remove stored session credentials and optional API access records when we receive the uninstall notification. On receipt of Shopify's shop data erasure notification, we delete the shop's remaining App settings and authentication records. Export files you download and records written to your Shopify store remain under your control and must be managed separately. Service-provider logs, backups and support correspondence may remain for operational or legal needs under the applicable provider or support retention processes.

Your choices and requests

You can manage store content in Shopify, revoke access by uninstalling the App, and contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold. We may need to verify your authority over the relevant store before acting. If you are a customer of a merchant, contact that merchant first regarding store records; we assist merchants with applicable requests. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your information, or complain to a privacy regulator.

Security and international processing

We use HTTPS, authenticated access and access controls to protect information. Optional API keys are stored using hashing and encryption. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries outside your own, where privacy laws may differ.

Children and policy changes

The App is a business tool for Shopify merchants and is not intended for children. We may update this policy as the App or our practices change; the updated policy and date will be available on this public page.
